About Me (and history)

Im Finnian Niko (or Finn), i handle my hyperfixation professionally. The first vertical scrolling rhythm game i saw was Beatmania IIDX, the gameplay was so ecstatic and the soundtracks of the game is so fantastic i even questioned myself if i deserve having ears. But my mom didnt even let me play the machine & we went home quickly, im still upset after that happened ('-').

Fast forward to July of 2022, i came across this video. I was so impressed by how the person playing can even process all of the notes on the screen and hit them accurately, and also how he held his combo all the way until the end of the map. After i finished the video, i immediately downloaded the game to try it out myself.

While setting the game up and picking the right gamemode (osu!mania), i was interested on this "Gamma" map thing, i researched a few videos and found out its from a mapset called Dan ~ Reform ~ Conglomeration. After playing around with the maps (i play mostly dan maps every session pls dont kill me), safe to say i have immense Dan brainrot. I even inspired Gamma Dan as my Twitter nickname!

Fast forward to present day, i learnt and discovered a lot about the Rhythm Game community, specifically the osu!mania community. Interacting with people that have the same interest as me is such a euphoric feeling that i cant even explain with a few words. A portion of my personality is built with rhythm games, it taught me how to make a goal and achieve it.

The present and beyond

I usually play/make osu!mania maps on my free time, but sometimes i play my favorite queer game ULTRAKILL

Other than games, i also like learning about Linguistics and IT, i might pursue ComSci in the near future, but it looks kinda scary not gonna lie. I like watching anime and reading Manga (mostly RomComs, Yuri and Yaoi) i also love cats, they are so fucking silly whats up with them, this apply to other animals as well as Ivan from Alien Stage (hes a freaky fag i love him).

And thats it! You can find my social links at the main page of the website, im fairly more active on Twitter. Thanks for your time!
